Hard to believe that our departure is so close.....we wanted to post one more blog before leaving, just to say "au revoir" and add a map to show where we're heading. We will be spending two nights in Paris, then taking the train to Le Puy-en-Velay where we will start walking on Sep. 8th. People who have walked this trail have told us how beautiful it is, so we are anxious to see the scenery and put our new cameras to work. We have heard that wifi is very sporadic, so I will try to post updates every couple of days, but no guarantees! (Whether I can stay awake long enough to compose them may be another problem....)

Tell people not to worry if they don't hear from you. You might be lucky to get wifi where you are staying, or maybe in a cafe- but it is not so common on the Le Puy route- much to the surprise of many who have walked the Camino Frances.
