Just a quick note from Russ. We are safely ensconced in our first gite and recovering from a fairly short (17.5 km) but uphill walk. We are in the small community of Montbonnet - good luck finding it on a map. Couldn't resist an action shot of a pilgrim after a days walk and welcome shower.
